NBPC Conference

YOU MISSED A MEETING WELL WORTH ATTENDING!

THE SOUTHEAST CHAPTER LAST
MEETING WAS WORTH ATTENDING!
AND OUR NATIONAL WILL BE EVEN MORE INVITING!

The National Black Programmers Coalition meeting was well attended with our National President, Tori Bailey there in attendance.  We were all excited about having Greg Street, John Christmas, ESQ., Raheem The Dream, and PBT,  Tex J from the Cadillac Boys, and Rico Wade on our panel, but, to everyone's surprise, the one and only Les Brown took 10 mins. out of his busy conference schedule and spoke to the organization with an open heart.  It was outstanding!  Mr. Brown has informed us that he will be back and strongly encouraged our networking efforts and opportunities we had as a group.

Our National President, Tori Bailey gave information for the Convention in April 2004.

For more information, call 256-381-1862 or  Click Here to download your registration form.

The National Black Programmers Coalition, the country's premier organization of urban radio and record industry professionals, will celebrate "A Golden Past - A Platinum Future" during its 24th annual conference at the Hilton Hotel from November 6th thru 8th. Many veteran programmers will be there to  receive Awards of Excellence at the Scholarship Dinner, through which more than $100,000 has been awarded to minority communications students at historically Black colleges/universities.

This Platinum event will highlight seminars designed to help you understand the latest technology -- with EUR honcho Lee Bailey among participating experts -- or arm yourself for "World War III - Radio vs Records."

Trying to break into the industry? Attend an NBPC college workshop or get feedback from the pros at a talent showcase. The lineup also features golden hitmakers LTD and today's platinum-selling acts like Outkast, with nonstop networking at luncheons, dinners and exciting first-time events including a Vegas-style game room and silent auction of entertainment collectibles.

NBPC special rate in effect until October 30th. (And there are discounted prices for NBPC members and for Radio.) For more information on registration, call 256-381-1862.
